KLIA – On check in prior to depart, I often ask for a seat next to emergency exit for one reason, to have an extra space for my legs. If I am lucky, they can fulfill my needs, just like now, I could stretch my legs and take a litttle nap. 🙂
My seat is 31F, on Boeing 737-900ER.

KLIA EXPRESS – The dream that is still yet unknown to be a reality for us in Jakarta, having a speedy, clean and comfy train to reach the airport. It is just 28 minutes straight to KLIA Airport from KL Centre station with no worries of jammed street. Not to mention, the integrated LRT/MRT throughout the city afterward.
‘Soon’ is still just a promise away..

CENGKARENG – The paper map, about many cities and destinations around the world, still offered here in the airport. In this digital era which we can easily download digital maps for free, does not mean the paper map is no longer needed. I still remember the last time I bought the city map on the street: The time I entering Bandung when I did not have any ideas yet about Global Positioning System/GPS maps. That was on year 2004 🙂

DEPOK – Ishak, my old friend in Bontang who lived in Yogya, come to Jakarta for a family business. He needs someone to take him to Depok, meet his neighbor when he lived in Bontang. So I take a one day permit from my office to take him to meet Mr Simorangkir in Bumi Novo, Depok. Because all of us are from the big family of Bontang, we have a very warm talk with this old man. BANDUNG – Woohoo, this hotel is really great. They provide a-beach-like-pool for kids, along with the sea stone and sands! Look, Najah and Maryam really love to play around. Dont ask how to take them off the pool, really.. 🙂

JATIBENING – It’s quite a long time for me to take my youngest daughter Maryam to play with water. She loves and enjoy being wet and, guess what, dive! As hard as I can remember, she is the bravest one among my daughters. Two sisters of her were start to dive after 3 years old or maybe more. She is 2.5 years old by now.
Good job baby, swimming is the one of our prophet’s sunnah.

JAKARTA – What do you expect after Jasamarga added more toll gates at Halim? Now we have 13 gates to choose, 2 or 3 with automatic gates. But, the street ahead only enough for 5 lanes. So? Yes it is, a bottle neck jammed in rush hour, exactly. Do you have any solutions?
JAKARTA – It’s been two months since the last gathering at Pakde Prasetyo house in Kota Wisata, tonight we are attending ‘arisan’ at Rumah Makan Bu Endang at Cipete, South Jakarta. This time, my sister Monica held the event.
It’s raining at the time we were all leaving our house and the traffic was really a mess. But when this big family are gathered, suddenly ‘all hells break loose’, although a few of members can not join tonight.
JATIKRAMAT – Since we had this fish pond, now I have a new side job every 2 or 3 weeks. Cleaning the pond and drain it to refill with the fresh new water. All is happy. Me, the family and the fish too, I think 🙂
CIKUNIR – Some people are really creative. Many children’s happy ride are easy to found in our neighborhood, especially in the urban area. From static carrousel, little reel and this one, kiddy train. We called it Odong-odong. Dont ask me the meaning of that, I dont know either.. 🙂
Looked so vintage? No problem, the kids are happy, that is the important thing here, haha.
