SABANG – Finally, I step my feet on the island of Sabang, the westernmost island of Indonesia. Been several years in Aceh, I was end up to the Ulee Lhue beach and only saw Sabang island from a distance.
Last week, my wife and I crossed to Sabang by Bahari Express 3 speed boat. The trip was only 45 minutes. After landed, we were guided to the Kilometer Nol memorial, the monument which is located at the northwestern of the island of Sabang. This monument marks the beginning of the Zero Kilometer Indonesia. Really? 🙂Nothing special actually here, except this place is the westernmost tip of Indonesia.
